What does Jack Skellington, the Sanderson Sisters and the Headless Horseman have in common?! MICKEY’S NOT SO SCARY HALLOWEEN PARTY (aka MNSSHP) that’s what!!
I don’t know about you, but we are so excited to see the return of this beloved special event. 2019 was the last time we saw what we know and love of Mickey’s Not So Scary. The pandemic put a stop to the parties in 2020 and in 2021 we saw a modified version called Boo Bash. Boo Bash was great but lacked the “something special” of MNSSHP.
What exactly is Mickey’s Not So Scary Party?
MNSSHP is an exclusive after-hours event where Ghosts and Goblins of all ages can partake in a special Halloween experience in the Magic Kingdom. You will enter into a transformed park complete with party specific entertainment, special fireworks, an out of this world Halloween parade and many more tricks and treats! The BEST part…. you can dress up in your favorite costume and trick or treat your way through the Magic Kingdom! After reading that, you’re probably thinking “It can’t get any better,” Right? Well…. it can! Not only will you get to enjoy all of the spooktacular fun I mentioned above but you can also meet some of your most beloved characters, all dressed in their Halloween best. MNSSHP does not disappoint when it comes to character meet and greets. Disney brings out some of their rare and hard to find friends just for this event! The party also offers some pretty cool photo pass magic shots that can be found randomly throughout the park.
How Much is MNSSHP and When is it offered?
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is offered on select nights from August 12 through October 31, 2022. All party guests MUST have a party ticket to attend and can enter the park ahead of the party start time at 4PM. Guests with a party ticket do not need to make a park pass reservation for Magic Kingdom nor do they need a park ticket for that specific day. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will take place from 7:00 PM to midnight on the below dates:

What’s New This Year?
If you’re lucky enough to be visiting this year you will get to delight in all that Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary has to offer. “The Most Magical Celebration on Earth” is currently in full force across all 4 parks and not only will you be able to partake in the 5oth fun during normal park hours but also during MNSSHP. So, what exactly is new for the party this year?
- 3D photo backdrops can be found throughout the park for those picture-perfect moments!

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets can be purchased by giving your favorite travel agent a call or by visiting Disney.com. All on property guests can actively purchase tickets at this time.
