Are you ready to run like the wind? The runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend is returning to Walt Disney World from April 13-16 2023. Lace up those kicks, gather your friends and race your way through the parks with this magical run series.
Characters, Courses and Themes…OH MY!
Each and every runDisney race is unique beyond measure and this one is no different! 4 races, 4 themes and 4 different medals! Let’s take a look at what each race in this series is all about.
· Disney Pixar Cars is a 3.1 mile course that you can zoom around at your own pace! Mater, Lightning McQueen and friends will be there to help keep your engines running!
· Disney Pixar Monsters 10K is a 6.2 mile course with two of the greatest monsters around….Mike & Sully! Participants will race their way through the world of Monstropolis with the Monsters Inc gang.
· Disney Pixar Toy Story 10 Miler will take runners to infinity and beyond! Buzz, Woody, Bo Beep and more will be waiting at the finish line.
· runDisney Springtime Surprise Challenge…”Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming” all the way to the finish line! With this race, you will “Just keep running,” straight through the big blue with
our favorite fish friends.
Virtual Race
Can’t make it to Orlando to run the race? (me either, sadly!) Guess what, that is totally okay! You can sign up to run virtually. Yes, you heard that right! You can run from the comfort of your hometown or couch (no judgement here) making this virtual series extremely convenient! There are even medals! Actual medals…not virtual! HA!

Hello Everyone! I am Kevin Carroll and I have been very fortunate to have many opportunities to visit Walt Disney World growing up, all in thanks to my grandparents. I remember each visit they took us on running through the parks, grabbing our Mickey pretzel, waiting for the parades, watching the fireworks and oh yeah can’t forget my all-time favorite show/dinner party, Hoop Dee-Doo Revue.
