Some Sad News, Folks!
After 24 years of show after show at Islands of Adventure, Poseidon’s Fury will take its final curtain call on May 9th.
Poseidon’s Fury debuted in 1999 and offered guests a walkthrough of the Temple of Poseidon. Once inside the Temple, park goers were treated to a lively (and funny) LIVE show lead by an archeologist assistant who would then lead guests through the ancient ruins. After a series of unfortunate events, guests would then help discover a secret chamber which ended in a battle between Poseidon and Lord Darkennon. Special effects, unique projections and a spectacular water tunnel were just a few of the features offered for this attraction.
Per Universal, Poseidon’s Fury will close to make way for new and exciting experiences. What that means is still to be determined but Destination DizN will continue to follow the story and bring you the details as they are released!
