Travel Insurance

Travel insurance can help calm your anxiety about the what ifs of life and help cover associated costs if something should go awry. Illness, lost luggage, job loss, you name it …. insurance will likely reimburse you.

Travel insurance is a highly debated topic with some folks opposed and others a huge fan. I am one that is a huge fan of insurance as I have seen the good, bad and ugly across all facets of travel.

Of course, with all products there are many different companies out there that offer travel insurance with some being GREAT, some being Good and other’s being horrendous. Disney, however, takes the stress out of having to hunt down the right fit for insurance and offers a GREAT product for their guests.

Disney Insurance covers most travel hiccups along the way and as I mentioned, is convenient to add.

Side note: I still recommend doing your own research to see what options out there would be a good fit.

Changes to Disney Travel Insurance

As with most things these days, prices for Disney Travel Insurance have gone up and includes a few other adjustments in how or rather who is included.

Beginning, February 15, 2023, Travel Insurance Pricing will adjust upwards for the Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa.

In addition to a price hike, insurance will also include all children up to the age of 17 in the adult price. This means that children are NO LONGER an extra fee as was the case with previous insurance protocol.

All other coverage and policies will stay the same as before.

New Pricing is as follows

  • Walt Disney World Resort $95.00
  • Disneyland Resort $85.00
  • Disney’s Auani Resort & Spa $99.00

To recap the changes, pricing has gone up to the amounts above and now INCLUDES all children 17 and under.

To add travel insurance to any Walt Disney World Resort vacation, call (407) W-DISNEY, (407) 934-7639 or reach out to your favorite Travel Professional. Insurance can be added to any of the above destinations prior to your final payment only.
