The Walt Disney World Resort is celebrating “Her”story during Women’s History Month (March) with special food/beverages inspired by the female members of the culinary creative team including chefs, pastry chefs, and mixologists.
This month you can indulge in delicious dishes, decadent treats and specialty cocktails resort wide and this is your guide to all there is to offer. Let’s look at how Disney World is celebrating women through “flavor” as well as the where, what, and how long?

All-Star Resorts Honors Women’s History Month
World Premier Food Court, Intermission Food Court, and End Zone Food Court
The Chocolate “Muse” Cake has complimentary flavors: chocolate (beauty) mousse, orange ginger (balance) panna cotta and a Black Currant (bold) Whipped Cream. (Available through March 31)
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
The Marra and Boma: Flavors of Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Chef Kuloud, who was inspired by African flavors and by her Syrian roots, created the “South African Vegetable Bowl”. This is a plant based sweet potato soup with tomato and sunflower butter, pilau rice topped with dates, apricot achar, and avocado tahini. (Available through March 31)

Landscape of Flavors and Everything Pop Honors Women’s History Month
Enjoy the “How Far I’ll Go” Haupia Pie which is a chocolate coconut pie with a layer of coconut haupia custard. (Available through March 31)

At both Marketplaces you can pick up the “Tiana Praline Cupcake” which is a vanilla cupcake filled with pecan-praline filling topped with a vanilla buttercream. (Available through March 30)
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Centertown Market Honor Women’s History Month
Try the Tropical Paradise Cheesecake which is a classic cheesecake topped with passionfruit coulis, mousse, popping boba pearls, and white chocolate. (Available through March 31)
Chef Assistant Yaneth created this treat which is inspired by the bright beautiful flavors and blooms of the Caribbean.

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
Toledo –Tapas, Steak & Seafood
Chef Chelsea wanted to emulate the flavors of afternoon tea with a unique twist, while Chef Assistant Meg was inspired to create “an edible piece of art”.
Try the “Teatime Salad”. This endive and arugula salad has Earl Grey vinaigrette, strawberries, and lavender-fennel pollen-infused goat cheese. Then have dessert try the coconut Flan with passion fruit sauce, fresh passionfruit, and mango with a hibiscus tuille and edible flowers. (Available through March 31)
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Gasparilla Island Grill
Here you can get a sweet treat Inspired by gingerbread through the partnership between Proprietor Debbie and Pastry Chef Kristine. Try the Gingerbread Latte Whoopie Pie. This treat is filled with latte cream. (Available through March 31)

Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside
Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factoryand Riverside Mill Food Court.
“Wishing On Stars” is a Mango mousse with coconut-lime gelée, coconut glaze, and chocolate décor. (Available through March 31).

Chef Becky created a dish inspired by the blooming vegetables and fresh ingredients of the springtime.
Honey-Thyme Pork Loin with Roasted Garden Vegetables: Tender pork loin with roasted garden vegetables, edible flowers, and honey-thyme reduction.

There’s a unique cocktail at some lounges and table-service restaurants at Disney resort hotels. These cocktails feature Uncle Nearest Whiskey. The Uncle Nearest Whiskey company is both a black-owned and women-owned distillery.
Whiskey Tradition: Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch Whiskey, pineapple juice, almond, agave, and angostura bitters. (Available through March 31)

Another drink created with Uncle Nearest available at various pool bars and table-service restaurants is the “Pineapple Mule”. The whiskey is mixed with Hella Cocktail Co. ginger bitters, pineapple juice, ginger beer, and mint. (Available through March 31)

The Uncle Nearest Whiskey was also used in both specialty creations offered at Tiffins Restaurant to celebrate Women’s History Month:
- Peach Cobbler Whiskey Cake: Peach cobbler cake, honey vanilla bean ice cream, and brown butter whiskey caramel. (Available through March 31)
- The Ginger Whiskey featuring Uncle Nearest 1856 Whiskey with notes of ginger and brown sugar. (Available through March 31)

Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue
The “Tiana Banana Pudding” has proven to be a winner from “Celebrate Soulfully” this year and will continue to delight guests through March 31 in honor of Women’s History Month.

Sunshine Seasons
Chef Veronica, inspired by her origins in Mexico, created the Birria Tacos with beef that includes monterey jack cheese, onions, cilantro, and lime served with consommé. In addition, you can sample the earl grey tea sponge cake with lavender yogurt cream crafted by Chef Assistant Anna and inspired by Marie Curie

Funnel Cake
The “Cold Fudge Funnel Cake” has chocolate-dipped vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, caramel and chocolate chips and was created by Ellen Korbin. Sounds like an amazing dessert honoring Women’s History Month! (Available through March 31)
Magic Kingdom Park
Cinderella’s Royal Table
Chef Katie Gross created an appetizer to honor Cinderella’s return to greeting and hugging guests during their meal- Braised Beef with carrot and coriander purée, shallot jam, and horseradish gremolada.

Cinderella’s Royal Table also has adult beverages available for the grown-ups meeting the princesses. The following wine selections come from The McBride Sisters, which is a both a black-owned and women-owned business.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Honors Women’s History Month
Hollywood Scoops
At this ice cream kiosk, you will delight in Tiana’s Mardi Gras Milkshake, a Mardi Gras king cake doughnut topping a cinnamon vanilla milkshake to celebrate both Women’s History Month and Mardi Gras. (Available through March 31).

City Works Eatery & Pour House
“Her Hops Beer Flight” features beers from all women-led or owned breweries. They include Robonaut Red Ale from Playalinda Brewing Co., You’re My Boy, Blue! from Brew Bus Brewing, Hakuna Matata from D9 Brewing Company, and Duke’s Cold Nose from Bold City Brewery. (Available through March 31)
The Ganachery
Are you a chocolate lover? Try Ahsoka Pop! Which is plant-based coconut and blueberry ganache enrobed in dark chocolate. (Available through March 31)

Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar Honors Women’s History Month
Meatball? Yes Please! “Nona’s Homestyle Meatballs” are hand-crafted Italian meatballs with Sunday gravy, basil pesto, home-made lemon ricotta, grilled focaccia, and grated pecorino Romano. (Available through March 31)
Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. in The Landing
Joffrey’s has a new blend: Disney Encanto Familia Madrigal Blend. This special blend for Women’s History Month features Mirabel Madrigal herself on the packaging. In addition, you can also try the exclusive Disney Princess Ripples. (Both choices available through March 31)

The Polite Pig
Grandma’s Beef Tips & Gravy sounds like comfort food at its finest! What else would you expect from The Polite Pig. This dish is combination of “pillowy white rice with a creamy, smoked mushroom twist dressed in a savory, hearty, and herby tenderloin beef gravy”. With that comes sous vide carrots in a rosemary chicken broth that are then lightly grilled with the house maple glaze topped off with a gentle kick of spice. (Available March 1 through 31)
