It’s unofficially SUMMER! I hope you are as excited as I am! The culinary team at Disney World is excited too. They have released Disney World’s summer menus, and everything sounds DELICIOUS! New savory dishes and sweet treats are popping up all over property from parks to resorts. This is a great time of year to be creative with fresh, light ingredients. Somehow the treats are extra sweet during a summer evening. Let’s look at what you can savor this season at the most magical place on Earth.
Le Cellier (Canada Pavilion, Epcot)
This past month, the signature steakhouse is taking on some of the most adventurous menu items of the season. First, let’s look at the appetizers.

New appetizers include:
- The Green Onion and Garlic Canadian Cove Mussels
- The Mushroom Bisque
- The Jumbo Grilled Shrimp paired with a tasty cocktail sauce and Espelette pepper cream.
For plant-based eaters:
- Fried Cauliflower
- The Canadian Tourtiere (a chickpea and mushroom pie with braised endive, snap peas, stone fruit ketchup and plant-based demi-glace

Entrée Items:
- Kibbeh Nayeh- a prime steak Tartare with bulgar wheat, radish, mint, and garlic aioli
- The Grilled Scallops served with caviar.

The Food Courts (All-Star Resorts, Art of Animation, Pop Century, Caribbean Beach, Port Orleans Resorts)
A Korean style IMPOSSIBLE burger is on the menu at the resort food court locations. It’s served with Korean-style barbeque sauce and a pickled vegetable slaw.
Also included at these locations is a sweet cupcake that is put together with plant-based chocolate cake topped with vanilla buttercream and sprinkles.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort
At Everything Pop Shopping and Dining a second NEW burger is being served. Along with the Impossible Burger choice, guests can order The Cuban Burger. This choice includes ham, pickled pepper relish, provolone, and dijonnaise served on a toasted brioche bun.

Disney’s All-Star Resorts
Next, the End Zone Food Court is where you can try the Bases Loaded Burger. Are you ready? This burger is served with bacon jam and beer cheese plus an onion ring to top it off!! YUM!
In addition, The Sweet Summertime Favorites is available at all three All-Start food courts. It’s an illusion dessert designed to resemble a Hot Dog and fries. It’s really made with chocolate sugar cookies and served with a raspberry dipping sauce.
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Furthermore, The Centertown Market has two sundaes for you this season. The Mickey Sundae is made with vanilla and chocolate soft serve along with mini brownies and chocolate ears. Your second choice is the Minnie Sundae created with vanilla soft serve, strawberry sauce topped with a Minnie chocolate ears/bow décor.

Disney’s Boardwalk
In addition to the above, the Strawberry Shortcake Croissant Roll at the Boardwalk Deli might just make your day! It’s a croissant with a strawberry filling. Unfortunately, it is only available on weekends beginning May 29.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
Beginning June 1, Gasparilla Island Grill will start serving the Summer Berry Shortcake made with vanilla sponge, blueberry compote, strawberries, and Chantilly cream.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Also beginning June 1, Geyser Point Bar and Grill will have a new margarita flight on the menu for guests 21 years old and over. This special offer includes flavors of black cherry, spicy pineapple, raspberry, and cucumber melon.

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
Meanwhile, Toledo-Tapas, Steak, & Seafood also has a new cocktail to serve during the summer months. The Smoked Passion Fruit features Agustin Blazquez Felipe II Solera Reserva Brandy, demerara syrup, passion fruit, smoked cinnamon, and house made frozen cubes of OJ.

Walt Disney World Dolphin
This resort just opened a brand-new restaurant serving delicious, authentic Mexican fair. Rosa Mexicano is a fine-dining experience with award winning margaritas. This summer try something new and exciting and give this restaurant a firsthand experience.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Disney World’s summer menus are also changing at the theme parks. Tamu Tamu inside the Africa section of the park is serving a new sundae- The Pineapple Crisp Sundae. This treat combines Pineapple crisp cake with vanilla ice cream topped with pineapple sauce.

Great news! Restaurantosaurus is bringing back the Fried Chicken Sandwich as of June 1. This handheld meal has it all, fried chicken breast, pickle, lettuce, tomato, and roasted garlic aioli served between a warm brioche bun.

Returning Summer Menu Favorites
In addition, Flame Tree Barbecue has brought back another popular summer dish- The Ribs, Chicken and Pulled Pork Sampler. This is a great option to share with two or more for a great taste test of all three.

I saved one of the best for last! Dino Bites in Dino Land is bringing back maybe one of the all-time favorite treats this season. You can indulge in the Dino Dig Ice Cream Sandwich made with simple vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two sugar cookies. The treat is sprinkled with chocolate cookie crumbs, sugar bones and topped with a chocolate dino.
