A Food Guide to Disney’s Celebration of Pride Month

For the month of June, the Disney Culinary Team is helping guests celebrate Pride Month. They have created specialty eats and treats available at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World.  Pride Month celebrates the LGBTQ+ community. A host of dessert items are available on both coasts in honor.  Below is a list of what the team has created and is available for a limited time.

Disney World Theme Parks

Magic Kingdom Park

On the menu at Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom is the giant Mickey shaped cinnamon roll adorned with rainbow icing. In addition, you can also find it at the Boardwalk Deli at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn Resort as well as Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.

Also, in Magic Kingdom at Pinocchio Village Haus, pick up a Pride Mickey Key Lime Tart. In addition, you can swing by Sleepy Hollow for a Pride Mickey Pop. This cake pop is made of confetti cake dipped in white chocolate and striped with the transgender flag colors.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park

Creature Comforts on Discovery Island at Animal Kingdom Theme Park offers guests the Pride Mousse Dome.  This lemon chiffon cake has raspberry-lemonade mousse, a white chocolate glaze and white chocolate rainbow crispy pearls.

Pizzafari ,also on Discovery Island, you can pick up the Pride Cupcake.  This is a chocolate cake base with a salted caramel crunch filling. It’s topped with sweet coffee buttercream, rainbow sprinkles and a Mickey Pride décor.   

Tiffins has a color changing cocktail made with Empress 1908 Gin, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur and Peach Schnapps.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Both ABC Commissary and Catalina Eddie’s offer guests the Pride Cheesecake Dome in Hollywood Studios.  This Mickey dome cake is made with a whipped berry, white chocolate cheesecake on a vanilla cookie. It’s topped with a red mirror glazed.  The ears are rainbow colored white chocolate. 

Backlot Express offers their own version of a Pride Cupcake. It’s made with a vanilla cake and has a berry marmalade and rainbow sprinkle filling. They topped it with red berry buttercream.

Also at Hollywood Studios, Woody’s Lunchbox in Toy Story Land is serving a Pride Lunchbox Tart. This is a guava filled pastry coated in purple vanilla fondant topped with sprinkles and sour ribbon candy.

Epcot

Meanwhile in Epcot, Frozen Blueberry Lemonade (available both without alcohol or with the addition of Moonshine) is available at Block and Hans and Regal Eagle Smokehouse both in the American Pavilion.

Also available at Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavilion is another version of a Pride Dome Cake. This version is created with Tres Leches Mousse and toasted coconut based with a mirror glaze.

Disney World Resort Hotels

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is serving up a Pride Confetti Cake made with yellow confetti cake and white chocolate ganache.  This is available at The Marra inside Jambo House.

Meanwhile, both Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Art of Animation Resort’s are offering a Pride Roulade.  This has a vanilla cake with lemon-cream cheese filling served with sweet cream and a white chocolate Mickey décor.

At Contempo Café at Disney’s Contemporary Resort try a Pride Mousse Cake. This is made with sprinkle cake, passion fruit mousse and strawberry crunch topped with a purple mirror glaze. 

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is serving Pride Coconut Key Lime Pops. They are enrobed in chocolate with white chocolate décor.

In addition to the Pride Cinnamon Roll, at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn has the Pride Italian Cookie at Carousel Coffee.  This frangipane-based treat has raspberry jam and a dark chocolate shell.

Also, you can purchase the same cookie at Disney’s Riviera Resort at Le Petite Café.  If you visit the Polynesian Village Resort, head to Pineapple Lanai for a Pride Float.  This is created with vanilla pink and blue soft serve representing the rainbow flag colors. It includes Fanta Pineapple topped with sprinkles and a white chocolate décor.

Various Disney World Resorts are serving the Pride Strawberry Cupcake. This is made with confetti cake filled with fresh strawberries and topped with Bavarian cream.

Disney Springs

In Disney Springs, at Amorette’s Patisserie you can purchase a Pride Roulade made with green apple mousse and buttercream.  Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ offers guests the Pride-themed Jumbo Squeeze Bottles served with the “shine on tap” – refills available. 

The Coca-Cola Store is serving the Simply Rainbow. It’s made with Simply Orange, ICEE Blue Raspberry and Grenadine topped with a gummy candy. You can also have fun with The Pride Pinata at the Ganachery.  This treat is filled with marshmallow treats.

Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. is serving a Rainbow Donut and “Happy Pride Month” Ripple Art. Over at Paddlefish you can try a new cocktail with Kendra’s Loud & Proud.   This drink is created with grenadine, pineapple juice, elderflower liquor and Islamorada Hibiscus Gin. 

Lastly, at Splitsville Lanes, you can top off your game and your dinner with a Pride Cake. This is a multicolored, multilayered cake.

Disneyland Theme Park

At Jolly Holiday Bakery Café guests can choose to mobile order or stand in line to purchase two items.  The Mickey-shaped Macaron made with a red Mickey shaped shell and hibiscus buttercream. Indulge in the Mickey Pride Cookie which is dipped in white chocolate and sprinkled with nonpareils.  The cookie is also available at Market House and Red Rose Tavern.

Disney California Adventure Park

Try the same Mickey Pride Cookie at Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Café or Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta.  You can also sip on a new cocktail at both locations.  The Vodka Bramble is vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, blackberry liqueur and fresh blackberries. 

Various Candy Locations around Disneyland Resort will also offer guests the World of Color Crisped Rice Treat.

Downtown Disney District

Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express has the Rainbow Crunch Glazed Beignets. This creation is a blueberry, lemon glazed beignet topped with a crispy rainbow cereal crunch.  

Finally, head to Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes for a Vanilla Shake with Rainbow Sprinkles.  This extreme dessert has a vanilla frosted rim with colorful tart candies.  It is topped with a rainbow donut, rainbow unicorn pop, sour rainbow gummy rope candy, AND whipped cream!

You can also pick up a Pride N’ Candy Cannoli at Naples Ristorante E Bar and Napolini Pizzeria.
