What exactly is Goofy’s Sports Deck you ask?
Goofy’s Sports Deck is a FREE, special open-air activity center on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy cruise ships, located on deck 13 Aft. This deck features a variety of sports and recreational activities that we will break down for you below, so keep reading!
As you make your way up the stairs to deck 13, the vibrant colors and whimsical decor immediately transport you into the magical world of Disney. Set against the backdrop of the open ocean, this lively deck offers a perfect blend of recreational activities for guests of all ages.
Basketball Paradise
Located directly at the top of the deck 13 stairs, is a full basketball court, where you can channel your inner Steph Curry and engage in some friendly competition with fellow cruisers. This court is equipped with high-quality basketballs, ensuring a slam dunk experience for players of all skill levels.
Mini Golf Magic
For those looking for a more laid-back sporting experience, Goofy’s Mini Golf is the perfect option. This whimsically designed course features beloved Disney characters coupled with scenic views of the ocean. Whether you’re a golf pro or a first-timer, the mini-golf course promises a delightful and challenging round for all.
Guests can play a full 9 holes with each hole having a “goofy” twist on traditional golf obstacles.
Per Disney Cruise Line, a few of those challenges are:
- “Handling a Dog Leg” – Golfers avoid a fire hydrant and use Pluto’s dog bone to guide them to the hole.
- “Stuck in the Rough” – Goofy shows golfers how to avoid the tall turf and steer clear of a lawn mower.
- “Reading the Green” – Stacks of books and a large magnifying glass are obstacles to circumvent on this undulating green.
- “Attacking the Green” – Golfers take a pirate’s approach to sinking their putt as they maneuver their ball through various pirate-like obstacles.
Interactive Games for All Ages
The fun doesn’t stop with basketball or golf! Goofy’s Sports Deck also boasts other interactive games that cater to guests of all ages. From foosball to ping pong, there’s no shortage of opportunities to challenge family and friends to a nail-biting match.

Hidden Details?
As we mentioned above, Goofy’s Sports Deck is 100 percent free and does not require a time to be pre-scheduled. You are able to come and go as you wish!
There is, however, a separate experience called Goofy’s Sports Simulator that DOES require prepayment and must be scheduled prior to use. The sports simulator is also located on deck 13 Aft and is a super fun, interactive way to play soccer, basketball, golf and hockey in a more realistic scenario. Guests can choose from different levels of difficulty and can be played solo or with a small group. As mentioned, the sports simulator is a reservation-based experience that you can book online before your cruise via your Disney Cruise Account or once on the ship at the Port Adventures desk.

Play popular sports including soccer, baseball, basketball, hockey or football thanks to state-of-the-art virtual sports-gaming available at Goofy’s Sports Deck. Virtual sports simulators recreate your favorite game activities so you can enjoy them while you’re at sea.
Golf 60-Minute Package
- Duration: 60 minutes
The virtual golf simulator at Goofy’s Sports Deck features a variety of championship golf courses, interactive practice situations and real-time ball flight. It’s a great way to practice your swing or compete against friends without ever having to step off the ship.
Sports 60-Minute Package
- Duration: 60 minutes
The sports simulator is available for guests 3 & Up. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by someone 18 and over while using the simulator.
