Whether you are finally taking that adults only trip, or looking for a night out alone, Epcot has launched its first adults only, 21+ bar and lounge and here is everything you can expect from this new location.
WHAT’S IN A NAME?
Geo-82 opened June 4, 2025 in Disney’s Epcot and is located right at the exit to the Spaceship Earth attraction (though with its own separate entrance if you are not riding the attraction itself). It is named after both the iconic Spaceship Earth geodesic shape in combination with paying tribute to the opening date of this landmark in 1982. It is set up with an immediate feel of class and elevated tranquility right as you walk in.
The geodesic design carries its way throughout the lounge, from the shape being shown through wall art, floor patterns, as well as in multiple stunning light fixtures you will see that give both the combination of feeling like miniature versions of Spaceship Earth, as well as a feeling of an exploding firework when lit. Both making you feel high class and showered with luxury.
ENTERING INTO THE LOUNGE
Reservations are highly recommended as this is a very popular new area of the park. This can be done utilizing your My Disney Experience app and when you are checked in at the front desk they will escort you up into their waiting room area, where comfort and tranquility awaits. You clean off with a complimentary scented towel that is refreshing, classy and perfect for those hot parks days. Once your table is ready you will be greeted and learn more about the history of Spaceship Earth as you embark to your table. If you look closely you will even see the original concept along with the explanation of why the original design was not predicted to work and ended up being changed to the design we all know and love.
SMALL BITES AND SIGNATURE COCKTAILS
Known more for its signature cocktails (and mocktails), be aware the food menu is somewhat limited and aligns more with small bites and sharable snacks. Do not be deceived, however, while there might be fewer options, everything on the menu is made with great care and absolutely delicious! These items include: Cannellini hummus with home made pita chips, a Chef’s Selection of cheese and cured meats (their version of a charcuterie board), Truffled Ahi Tuna and a Jumbo Lump Crab Gateau.
Moving to some of the signature cocktails, here at Geo-82 you will find their EXCLUSIVE Disney Select Bourbon Flight. This will cost you $45 and is made with: Uncle Nearest Single Barrel Premium Whisky, Woodford Reserve Single Barrel, Blanton’s Gold Single Barrel and Stagg Private Barrel. If you are a Bourbon fan and would like a hand picked exclusive experience, I highly recommend giving this a try.
Additionally they are well known for their Brown Butter Old Fashioned made with Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Kentucky Straight Bourbon, brown butter, maple, and mexican chocolate bitters. This fairs on the sweeter side for those of you interested in an old fashioned but intimidated by the intense taste they can sometimes bring. This is also served with a large ice cube embossed with the Spaceship Earth logo on it for a really fun extra touch.
Fear not for any non Bourbon lovers, however, as they also have a wide variety of signature cocktails of all alcohol bases. They have a full bar as well for any non menu featured drinks that might be desired. The menu breaks down how these are prepared, what type of glass you should expect it to be served in as well as the ice used to prepare. A truly upscale touch for this luxury park experience.
FIREWORKS PACKAGE
The 180 panoramic view windows give a gorgeous view of the park, no matter the time of day. If you are lucky enough, however, to get a reservation during the nighttime firework show you will be able to see them illuminated through the sky. Want to ensure you have preferential seating and a guarenteed ideal view? You can book a firework dining package which will guarantee that time slot along with an unobstructed indoor gorgeous view.
FINAL THINGS TO CONSIDER
Still trying to decide if Geo-82 is for you? You should keep these final thoughts in mind as your 60 day booking window arrives to determine if this lounge is right for you:
- This is a very classy lounge (in the coolest way possible!). You do not need to dress up for this experience, normal park attire is fine, but the vibe is definitely more on the upscale side
- Traveling with Kids? Unfortunately they do card and no one under 21 will be allowed to enter into the lounge
- Price can be a bit high for the drinks and small bites, so make sure to check the menu on the app ahead of time, but plan on spending anywhere from $ 8-11 on beer and $17-28 on cocktails
