If a Walt Disney World vacation is on your 2027 calendar, this is the kind of Disney news worth paying attention to.
Disney has released several new savings offers for 2027 stays beginning January 3, including discounts on Disney Resort hotel rooms, room-and-ticket vacation packages, and an even bigger offer for eligible Disney Visa Cardmembers.
There are some important differences between these offers, though, and the biggest discount isn’t automatically the best deal for every vacation.

The 2027 Disney Discounts at a Glance
Traveling January 3–April 29, 2027?
You may be able to:
- Save up to 25% on select Disney Resort rooms
- Save up to $250 per night on select 4-night, 4-day-or-longer room-and-ticket packages
- Save up to 30% on select rooms if you’re an eligible Disney Visa Cardmember
And there’s another interesting wrinkle: some Disney Visa Cardmembers can receive additional savings on Friday and Saturday nights when staying 5 or more nights during part of the offer period.
So, which one should you look at?
Let’s break it down.
Save Up to 25% on Select Disney Resort Rooms
The standard room offer is available for select stays from January 3 through April 29, 2027.
The amount you save depends on the resort category and when you travel.
Save Up to 25%
For select resorts:
- 25% off most nights from February 28–April 29, 2027
- 20% off most Sunday–Thursday nights from January 3–February 25, 2027
Participating resorts include many Deluxe and Deluxe Villa properties.
Save Up to 20%
At another group of participating resorts:
- 20% off most nights from February 28–April 29
- 15% off most Sunday–Thursday nights from January 3–February 25
Participating resorts include Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort–Riverside and select other room types.
Save Up to 15%
At select Value Resorts and other participating accommodations:
- 15% off most nights from February 28–April 29
- 10% off most Sunday–Thursday nights from January 3–February 25
One important note: The discount is based on specific room types and available inventory. Not every room at a participating resort will necessarily be eligible.
Save Up to $250 Per Night on Select Vacation Packages
This offer is particularly interesting if you’re planning to purchase a Walt Disney Travel Company room-and-ticket package rather than booking your hotel separately.
For select 4-night, 4-day or longer packages, guests can save up to $250 per night on qualifying stays from January 3 through July 28, 2027.
And unlike the room-only offer, this one extends well into the summer.

At select Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villa properties:
- $250 per night off most nights from February 28–July 28
- $150 per night off most Sunday–Thursday nights from January 3–February 25
Save Up to $150 Per Night
At select Moderate Resorts and other participating properties:
- $150 per night off most nights from February 28–July 28
- $75 per night off most Sunday–Thursday nights from January 3–February 25
Save Up to $60 Per Night
At select Value Resorts:
- $60 per night off most nights from February 28–July 28
- $40 per night off most Sunday–Thursday nights from January 3–February 25
This offer has some additional requirements, including a minimum 4-night stay and minimum 4-day theme park ticket.
And because this is a package offer, everyone staying in the same room must be included on the same package.
Disney Visa Cardmembers Have an Even Bigger Offer
If you have an eligible Disney Visa Card, there’s another offer worth checking before booking.
Disney Visa Cardmembers can save up to 30% on select Disney Resort rooms for stays from January 3 through April 29, 2027.
The savings break down like this:

At select Deluxe Resorts and villas:
- 30% off most nights from February 28–April 29
- 25% off most Sunday–Thursday nights from January 3–February 25
Save Up to 25%
At another group of participating resorts:
- 25% off most nights from February 28–April 29
- 20% off most Sunday–Thursday nights from January 3–February 25
Save Up to 20%
At select Value and Moderate Resorts:
- 20% off most nights from February 28–April 29
- 15% off most Sunday–Thursday nights from January 3–February 25
There’s a Weekend Bonus, Too
For stays of 5 or more consecutive nights, eligible Disney Visa Cardmembers can also receive special savings on many Friday and Saturday nights from January 8–February 27, 2027.
That’s worth paying attention to if you’re planning a longer weekend-inclusive trip.
There are additional eligibility requirements for this offer, including using a valid Disney Visa Card or Disney Rewards Redemption Card for the required deposit and having the eligible Cardmember stay in the room.
So…Which Disney Discount Is Best?
This is where things get a little more interesting.
The biggest percentage isn’t necessarily the biggest savings.
If you’re booking just a Disney Resort room, start by comparing the standard room offer with the Disney Visa Cardmember offer if you’re eligible.
If you’re planning to purchase a room-and-ticket package, the package discount could potentially provide more value, even though the percentage savings on the room itself may look smaller.
And if you’re traveling between February 28 and April 29, that’s an especially important window to watch because that’s when the highest standard room discounts are available.
For travelers considering January or early February, the savings are generally lower and are concentrated on Sunday–Thursday nights.
In other words, your resort, dates, length of stay, ticket needs and eligibility all matter.
That’s why I wouldn’t simply look at the headline number and assume you’ve found the best deal.
A Few Important Things to Know
As always with Disney promotions, there are some restrictions.
The room offer:
- Advance reservations are required.
- Availability is limited.
- The offer cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.
- Minimum and maximum length-of-stay requirements apply.
- Only select resorts and room types qualify.
- Some villas, campsites, cabins and other specialty accommodations are excluded.
For the room-and-ticket package:
- A minimum 4-night stay is required.
- A minimum 4-day theme park ticket is required.
- Everyone in the same room must be on the same package.
- The offer cannot be combined with another discount or promotion.
- The number of packages allocated to the offer is limited.
- The package includes a date-based ticket, so theme park reservations are not required for those date-based tickets.
Disney Visa Cardmembers:
- The eligible Disney Visa Cardmember must stay in the room.
- The required deposit must be made with a valid Disney Visa Card or Disney Rewards Redemption Card.
- The offer cannot be combined with another discount or promotion.
- Some room types and resorts are excluded.
- Valid theme park admission is not included with the room-only offer.
