First Look at Hurly-Burly Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

We finally have our first look at Hurly-Burly! This is a new dining and entertainment experience coming to Disney’s BoardWalk. We now know when we can check it out! Opening October 1, 2026, this new seaside theater-inspired venue will offer family-friendly games and trivia during the day. Then it transforms into an adults-only, 21+ live music experience beginning at 9 p.m. Guests can also enjoy nostalgic cocktails and small bites inspired by the classic BoardWalk.

Guests can expect shareable small bites. Some highlights include meatballs in tomato gravy, mini pretzels with bacon-cheese fondue and roast beef sliders. Don’t forget the oven-roasted shrimp and tomato pie, along with a sweet finish of mini apple cider doughnuts with miso-caramel sauce. The specialty drinks continue the vintage-inspired theme, with creative cocktails and fun non-alcoholic options like the Caramel Corn Cold Brew.

Diamond Horseshoe Gets a New Pop-Up Menu

The Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square is getting a new limited-time pop-up dining experience beginning October 4, 2026. Reservations open September 29. Instead of its traditional family-style meal, the new concept will feature shareable frontier-inspired small plates. Plus enjoy specialty drinks, cocktails, wine and beer.

Some of the menu highlights already catching our attention include Sweet Golden Corn Fritters with cilantro ranch and red chili honey. The menu also includes Queso Fundido with Barbecue Burnt Ends and warm tortilla chips, Glazed Sticky Ribs with cowboy beans. Plus you can order a Chipotle Chicken Tostada with queso fresco, lime crema and pickled cactus salsa. For something sweet to sip, guests can try options like Caramel Root Beer with Sweet Cream and Orange Cream Soda.

This is definitely one to watch if you’re visiting Magic Kingdom this fall especially if you enjoy having more shareable, snack-friendly dining options inside the park.

First Look: Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge

The countdown is officially on for Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge! The newest resort coming to Walt Disney World opens July 1, 2027. Disney has given us our first look inside the resort’s guest rooms ahead of reservations opening in October. The nature-inspired design is already making this one to watch. With 967 rooms ranging from cozy duo studios and deluxe studios to spacious villas and unique waterfront Lake Houses, the resort will combine natural materials, earthy tones and Disney storytelling throughout.

The standout new accommodation is the one- and two-bedroom Lake Houses, freestanding A-frame retreats along Bay Lake with floor-to-ceiling windows, private waterfront porches, full kitchens and washers and dryers. Inspired by Brother Bear, these homes will sleep up to five or eight guests, respectively. Larger groups will also have options ranging from one- and two-bedroom villas to three-bedroom Grand Villas that sleep up to 12.

And if you’re already thinking about booking, mark your calendar!

  • Disney Vacation Club members can begin making early rental reservations October 6
  • Annual Passholders on October 7,
  • all guests can book beginning October 8, 2026

With waterfront accommodations, views of Magic Kingdom fireworks and a concierge lounge called The Artist’s Nest, Lakeshore Lodge looks like it could be a very interesting addition to the Walt Disney World resort lineup.
