There are some Disney experiences that are special because of the attraction you ride, the show you see, or the character you meet. And then there are experiences that are memorable because of how you experience the magic. Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to experience a Disney Private VIP Tour at Walt Disney World hosted by DizN Vacations, and it was truly a day I will never forget.
As someone who spends a lot of time helping others plan their Disney vacations, I’m always excited to experience something new and find those little details that can make a Walt Disney World vacation even more special. This VIP experience gave me the opportunity to see the parks in a completely different way. It was an experience I may never have had if it weren’t for DizN Vacations.
I was incredibly grateful to share the experience with my colleagues and to have the opportunity to spend the day enjoying Disney magic together.

The Disney VIP Experience Begins Before You Arrive
One of the things I loved about the Disney Private VIP Tour is that the experience begins before you even arrive at the parks.
Disney Private VIP Tours include pre-arrival planning, and your day can be customized around the attractions, entertainment and experiences that are most important to your group.
Before our tour, we were able to communicate what we wanted to accomplish during our day. Since our priority was experiencing as many attractions as possible, we centered our plans around some of our favorite—and most popular—attractions.
Our day would begin at Disney’s Hollywood Studios before heading over to Magic Kingdom.
And we were ready to go!
Starting Our Day at Hollywood Studios
We began our VIP tour at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where our first attraction was Rise of the Resistance.
From there, we continued on to some of the park’s biggest attractions:
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
- Slinky Dog Dash
- Toy Story Mania!
Being able to move efficiently from one experience to the next made a huge difference in how much we were able to accomplish during our day.
But the VIP experience wasn’t simply about getting on attractions quickly.
Our tour guide, Robert, was a huge part of what made the day so enjoyable.
He was incredibly knowledgeable, full of interesting information and genuinely fun to spend the day with. He made sure we were taken care of throughout the entire experience and was always thinking ahead about what we needed next.
That personalized attention made the day feel completely different from a typical park day.

Behind the Scenes—and Onto Our Next Park
After we finished our time at Hollywood Studios, Robert led us backstage to a parking area where private transportation was waiting for us.
This was one of those moments when you realize just how different a VIP tour can be.
Rather than leaving the park, navigating transportation and then going through the normal entrance process at another park, we were escorted backstage and transported directly to our next destination:
Magic Kingdom!
Of course, there are strict rules about what guests can photograph or record in backstage areas, so those portions of the experience are definitely a “live in the moment” kind of experience.
And honestly? That’s part of what made it so special.

Our VIP Day Continues at Magic Kingdom
Once we arrived at Magic Kingdom, we continued our attraction-filled day.
Our list included:
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
- TRON Lightcycle / Run
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Haunted Mansion
We were able to experience some of Magic Kingdom’s most popular attractions without spending our day moving from attraction to attraction trying to figure out what we could fit in.
For our group, that was one of the biggest benefits of the VIP experience.
The Disney Private VIP Tour uses Lightning Lane entrances for participating attractions. While the VIP experience doesn’t mean you automatically walk straight onto every attraction, it allowed us to experience attractions through the Lightning Lane, with wait times comparable to what we would have experienced using Lightning Lane access.
And that efficiency adds up when you’re trying to experience multiple parks in one day.

We Didn’t Have to Worry About Our Stuff
Another little detail that made a big difference was having Robert with us throughout the day. When we wanted to ride an attraction, Robert could either hold our belongings or join us on the ride. That meant we weren’t constantly worrying about where to leave bags, drinks or other items.
It sounds like a small thing, but when you’re moving quickly through two theme parks, those little conveniences really add up. Robert also made sure we stayed hydrated and fueled throughout the day, providing water, Powerade and snacks when we needed them.
It truly felt like having someone whose entire job was to make sure we were having a great day.

Experiencing Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away
One of the highlights of our evening was experiencing Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away from a private viewing area.
After spending the day racing from attraction to attraction, it was wonderful to slow down for a little while and enjoy the nighttime spectacular.
Having a designated viewing area meant we didn’t have to spend a significant portion of our evening staking out a spot along the parade route.
Instead, we could enjoy the experience together and simply take in the magic.

Happily Ever After from a VIP Viewing Area
And then came one of those quintessential Disney moments:
Happily Ever After.
Watching the fireworks over Cinderella Castle is magical under any circumstances.
Watching them from a private VIP viewing area after an entire day of Disney adventures?
That’s something I’ll remember for a very long time.
It was the perfect way to end an already incredible day.

And Yes… There Was VIP Merchandise!
As if the day hadn’t already included enough special experiences, we also had the opportunity to purchase exclusive VIP merchandise.
For Disney fans, those little extras can be pretty exciting and having access to merchandise specifically associated with the VIP experience was another fun part of the day.
What Makes a Disney Private VIP Tour Different?
Disney describes its Private VIP Tour as a customizable experience designed around what your group wants to see and do.
And after experiencing it firsthand, I think the word customizable is particularly important. This isn’t simply a tour where everyone follows the same itinerary.
Your tour can be planned around your priorities, including visiting multiple theme parks and focusing on attractions and experiences that matter most to your group.
Some of the features of a Disney Private VIP Tour include:
- Pre-arrival planning
- A flexible start time
- The ability to visit multiple theme parks
- Efficient access to participating attractions
- A dedicated Disney Private VIP Tour Guide
- Personalized information and insights throughout your experience
- Private transportation between parks during the tour
And having a knowledgeable guide with you throughout the day adds an entirely different dimension to the experience.
The Disney Private VIP Tour Details
There are a few important things to know if you’re considering a Disney Private VIP Tour.
Disney Private VIP Tours currently range from $450 to $950 per hour, with a 7-hour minimum and 10-hour maximum. Pricing is subject to change. Valid theme park admission is required for each park you visit and is not included in the VIP Tour price.
A tour group can include up to 10 guests, including infants. Guests ages 17 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire tour.
Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance, and Disney recommends booking as early as possible because availability is limited.
The tour also requires guests to go through Disney security screening, including bag checks, and government-issued identification should be carried.
One important thing to remember is that photography and video recording, including cellphones and cameras, are not permitted while guests are in backstage areas.
As with all Disney experiences, attractions, entertainment and other offerings are subject to availability and can change, close or be canceled without notice.

Is a Disney VIP Tour Right for Your Family?
A Disney Private VIP Tour is certainly a significant investment, and it’s not something every family will want to add to their vacation.
But for the right group, it can provide something that is difficult to put a price on: time.
If your family has a long list of must-do attractions, wants to experience multiple parks in one day, is celebrating a special occasion, or simply wants to enjoy Walt Disney World with a tremendous amount of personalized assistance, a VIP Tour may be something worth considering.
For our group, it allowed us to accomplish an incredible amount in one day while still having someone else handle so many of the logistical details.
And that gave us more time to do what we came to Disney to do:
Enjoy the magic.
My Final Thoughts: A Day I’ll Never Forget
I’ve visited Walt Disney World more times than I can count, and I’ve experienced the parks in many different ways.
But this was different.
From starting our morning at Hollywood Studios to being transported backstage between parks, experiencing some of our favorite attractions, having Robert’s expertise and assistance throughout the day, enjoying VIP viewing areas for the parade and fireworks, and sharing it all with my colleagues—it was truly a magical experience.
I am incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to experience a Disney Private VIP Tour.
And I have to admit, this is one of those Disney experiences that I might never have experienced if it weren’t for DizN Vacations.
I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to experience it with my colleagues, and I’m even more thankful for the memories we created together.
It was a day filled with laughter, incredible attractions, great conversation, Disney magic and a whole lot of fun.
Sometimes, you get to visit Disney World.
