Dining on Main Street, U.S.A. is a quintessential part of any visit to Magic Kingdom! Tony’s Town Square Restaurant brings a touch of Disney storytelling to the table with its charming Lady and the Tramp theme.
We recently dined here, and while the atmosphere delivered on that classic Disney magic, the overall experience was a bit of a mixed bag.

Atmosphere & Location: A Front Row Seat on Main Street
One of the biggest highlights of Tony’s Town Square is its location right on Main Street, U.S.A. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and if you can snag a table outside, you’re in for a treat.
It’s the perfect spot to:
- Enjoy views of Main Street
- People-watch
- Even catch a parade passing by
The theming leans into the romantic. This turn-of-the-century Italian setting is inspired by Lady and the Tramp. This makes it a fun and nostalgic dining choice—especially for Disney fans.
That said, inside seating felt a bit tight. The tables were quite close together, and at times, it felt like we were dining with our neighbors rather than next to them.

Appetizer: Tony’s Garlic Bread for the Table
We started with Tony’s Garlic Bread for the Table ($14.00), featuring toasted ciabatta with roasted garlic butter and parmesan fondue.
As someone who loves garlic bread, I had high hopes—but this one fell a bit flat for me.
It was…okay.
The bread itself was fine, but I found it a little underwhelming in flavor. The parmesan fondue was a nice touch, but overall, it didn’t deliver that bold, crave-worthy garlic punch I was expecting.
I also found it a bit surprising that this is a paid appetizer rather than a complimentary starter (even in a smaller portion). It just didn’t feel like a standout value.

Entrée: Chicken Parmigiana
For my entrée, I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana ($34.00), served with marinara sauce and spaghetti.
Unfortunately, this was the biggest disappointment of the meal.
While the chicken itself was cooked properly, it lacked flavor. The marinara sauce was thin and watery, and overall, the dish just didn’t have the rich, comforting taste you’d expect from a classic Italian favorite.
Interestingly, my husband—who split the entrée with me—actually disagreed and enjoyed it more than I did. So, as always with dining, taste can be subjective.
Service: A Bright Spot
One area where Tony’s truly shines is service.
Our cast members were friendly and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. Even when the food didn’t quite meet expectations, the service helped keep the experience positive.

Overall Thoughts: Worth It?
Tony’s Town Square Restaurant offers:
- A prime Main Street location
- Charming Disney theming
- Solid service
But when it comes to the food, it didn’t quite live up to expectations for us.
Between the underwhelming garlic bread, the disappointing entrée (for me), and the tight seating indoors, this isn’t a restaurant I’d rush back to on our next trip.
That said, if you’re looking for:
- A convenient sit-down meal in Magic Kingdom
- A themed dining experience tied to Lady and the Tramp
- Outdoor seating with a view
…it may still be worth trying—especially if those elements matter most to you.
