First, this buffet-style restaurant is located near Echo Lake and offers character dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but the character lineups change depending on the time of day.

Meal Times & Characters

  • Breakfast (8:00 AM – 10:30 AM): Meet your favorite Disney Junior characters — a must-do for families with preschoolers.
  • Lunch (11:30 AM – 3:55 PM) and Dinner (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM): Enjoy a more classic lineup with Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Pluto, all dressed in themed seasonal outfits throughout the year.

We opted for lunch and had a delightful experience dining alongside Minnie and her friends. Characters made their rounds regularly, and the restaurant wasn’t overly crowded, which made for plenty of great photo opportunities and personal interactions.

Pricing Details

  • Breakfast: $49/adult, $33/child (ages 3–9)
  • Lunch & Dinner: $63/adult, $42/child

The Food: Better Than Expected

As someone who’s experienced Disney buffets once or twice, I went in with modest expectations. Let’s be honest: Disney buffets can sometimes feel repetitive and dry. Yet, Hollywood & Vine proved me wrong.

Most importantly, I was impressed by the plentiful and flavorful selections, especially for lunch. The highlights for me included:

  • Peel & Eat Shrimp
  • Salmon with Lemon Butter
  • Oven-Roasted Herb Chicken
  • Meatballs in Mushroom Sauce
  • Shepherd’s Pie with Ground Beef
  • Fresh Salads and Seasonal Fruit

However, for kids, there were classics like chicken tenders, French fries, macaroni & cheese, and soft-serve ice cream — perfect for even the pickiest eaters.

Dessert Review

Desserts are where I typically get excited, but I’ll be honest most were dry and underwhelming. That said, the bread pudding was phenomenal! It was soft, sweet, and rich, and this is coming from someone who doesn’t even like bread pudding!

Drinks

Next, all non-alcoholic beverages are included, but for those looking for an adult drink, you’ll find some unique options here. I was surprised by the availability of cocktails like Long Island Iced Tea, Bloody Mary, Mimosa, and even an Old Fashioned, alongside lighter sips.

Final Thoughts

Ultimately, Hollywood & Vine is a great character dining experience for young families and Disney fans alike, especially if you’re looking to meet classic characters without the long lines in the parks. The food quality exceeded expectations, the character interactions were personal and plentiful, and the variety satisfied every age group at our table.
