EPCOT World Showcase Food and Drink Guide: Must-Try Snacks and Drinks

EPCOT’s World Showcase offers an unparalleled culinary journey! Here, guests taste test the flavors of 11 different countries without ever leaving the park. Each pavilion in EPCOT not only offers authentic cuisine and beverages but also provides a rich cultural experience.

Its ambiance, architecture, and entertainment bring the countries around World to central Florida and your Disney World vacation!

Here’s a guide to some of the “must-try” snacks and drinks. First, let me encourage you to utilize the services of a travel professional to book and help plan your next trip.

Mexico

Start your journey around EPCOT World Showcase in Mexico.  There’s just no other way!   First, head to La Cava del Tequila inside the pyramid. Enjoy an extensive selection of tequilas, margaritas, and small bites like guacamole and queso.

If you are looking for a quicker, more family friendly option, walk right up to Choza de Margarita.  This is a quick service location. Here they offer not only frozen margaritas, but mocktails and handheld snacks like delicious empanadas.

Norway

Next, venture into Norway and treat yourself to a Kringla Sweet Pretzel. Choose the chocolate or almond version at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe (Kringla Bakery).

Pair your treat with a Viking Coffee, a delightful blend of coffee, Baileys Irish Cream, and Kamora Coffee Liqueur.

China

China’s pavilion is a delight for the senses. It showcases ornate architecture and delicious cuisine.  From the Joy of Tea sip on the classic Tipsy Ducks in Love, a unique blend of bourbon, coffee, tea, and cream.

Pair your tea with some house made dumplings. Stroll through the gorgeous pavilion.  Guests are welcome to meet Mulan in China as well. Take in “Reflections of China”, a 14-minute film about the history of China held in a 360-degree format

Germany

Germany is all about hearty fare and great beer.  First, the Karamel Kuche (Werther’s Carmel Kitchen) greets you at the top of the pavilion with an irresistible scent.  Don’t wait, mobile order some caramel popcorn here!

At Sommerfest towards the back, indulge yourself with a bratwurst or a jumbo pretzel. Don’t forget to pair them with a refreshing German beer.  For a truly decadent treat try the Pretzel Bread Pudding!

Italy

Italy offers a taste of la dolce vita with its Italian delights.  Sip on a refreshing Bellini or a glass of Italian wine from the Wine Cellar at Tutto Gusto.

Sip on Limoncello from La Bottega Italiana, a wine and gift shop.  Via Napoli in the back of the pavilion is a table service restaurant that serves delicious and authentic pizza and more Italian dishes.

The American Adventure

In the heart of the World Showcase, the American pavilion offers classic American dishes. Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue features barbecue favorites like smoked ribs and brisket sandwiches.

However, don’t miss your opportunity to enjoy a craft beer or a frozen mint julep. Soak in the ambiance of colonial America.

Japan

Kabuki Café is a small walk-up window inside the Japan Pavilion. Here, they serve that sweet, shaved ice delight, Kakigori, popular in Japan.  This refreshing sweet snow cone style dessert is perfect on a hot Florida day.

Secondly, Garden House Sake Bar is located toward the back of the pavilion. This kiosk serves, you guessed it, sake inspired cocktails and flights.

Morocco

I encourage you to sit down for this one!  The Morocco pavilion is a vibrant tapestry of flavors and aromas. At Spice Road Table, you can enjoy small plates like hummus fries and lamb sliders.

More importantly, the real star of this pavilion is the Iced Mint Tea.  This is one of my personal favorites along with the Hummus Fries.  This drink is served in your choice of non-alcoholic or with Bombay Sapphire Gin.

France

France is a culinary delight with its pastries and fresh food to go.   Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie offers a variety of pastries, sandwiches, and quiches, all made fresh and super delicious! I recommend the eclairs or tartlets for a decadent dessert.

Also, the France Pavilion offers a variety of crepes and galettes from Crepes de France.  Both are available either with sit down service inside, or from a quick service window.

United Kingdom

The United Kingdom pavilion invites you to a traditional pub experience. At Rose & Crown Pub, savor classic British dishes like fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, and bangers and mash. Wash it down with a pint of ale or a refreshing Pimm’s Cup.

However, the Fish & Chips Shop to the right of Rose & Crown serves guests a “take away” option like no other.  Just purchase and continue your journey around the World Showcase.

  • The Rose & Crown Dining Room is a great place to sit, enjoy dinner and watch the Nighttime Spectacular of EPCOT fireworks with the right seating.
  • The Rose & Crown is an excellent option for EPCOT festival concert dining packages.

Canada

End your culinary journey in Canada!  After all the food and drinks you’ve enjoyed around EPCOT World Showcase, end with a light bite of Maple Popcorn.  Sit back, find a spot for the fireworks and enjoy!

While the Canada Pavilion is home the LeCellier Steakhouse, this article is about snacks and light bites to “graze” and sample around the 11 countries at EPCOT.  The steakhouse is popular choice for special occasions and splurges.

Tips for a Great Experience:

  • Pace Yourself: With so many delicious options, it’s easy to overindulge. Take your time and savor each experience.
  • Share Plates: Sharing dishes allows you to try more items without getting too full.
  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day, especially if you’re indulging in alcoholic beverages.

Exploring the World Showcase at EPCOT through its food and drink offerings is a truly immersive experience. Each pavilion offers a unique taste of its culture, making it a highlight of any visit to Walt Disney World. So, grab your passport (and your appetite) and embark on a delicious journey around the world!
