We are headed straight for the most beautiful time of the year! Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival 2023 brings you colorful gardens, and the scents of Spring. The weather in Orlando is gorgeous in the spring and early summer. It’s a great time to stroll World Showcase sampling food and beverages created from gardens around the world.
Epcot hosts 4 annual festivals each year. This year’s Flower and Garden event starts March 1, runs through July 15 and is free to enjoy with a park ticket.
New This Year at Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival 2023
I may not talk about Bruno, but I will talk about Mirabel, Isabella, Louisa, and Antonio! For the first time this year these Encanto characters will greet you near the main entrance of Epcot in the form of topiaries. It may feel like Isabella herself used her gift to decorate the park with her beautiful flowers. In fact, it’s the limitless talent of the Disney horticultural team!
Princess Tiana will also make her first topiary appearance for 2023 inside the American Adventure Pavilion. I can guarantee there will be some amazing food (read beignets) somewhere close by.
Returning Favorites
In addition to the new, some returning awe inspiring favorites will join the cast above in the form of topiaries. Look for Snow White and the seven dwarves, the characters from Peter Pan, Figment, Anna & Elsa from Frozen and many more
In addition to the sculpted gardens, the Garden Rocks Concerts will return this year to the American Garden Theater. When the line-up is released, we will be sure to let you know!
Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration
Adults and kids alike will have a good time going on a scavenger hunt for Spike the bee around the festival. Don’t forget to pick up your game card/map when you enter. When you spot the friendly pollenating little bee, mark it with a sticker on your card. Once you’ve collected all the stickers of his locations, return your card for a small prize.
Blossoms of Fragrance at Epcot Flower and Garden Festival 2023
Let you nose lead you to the bridge to World Showcase where you’ll find Blossoms of Fragrance presented by Scentsy. You know how a scent can make you feel good? Try this experience! There will be 6 scent stations along with butterfly topiaries to fill your heart with “happy”.
What’s to Eat at Flower and Garden 2023?
Disney assures there will be more than 15 “outdoor kitchens” for this festival. I’m sure many returning favorites, like the Lavender Lemonade will be back (fingers crossed). I’m excited to find out what new things the culinary team has in store for this year.

Festival Merchandise
Orange Bird is once again the star of this year’s festival. However, they are throwing it back to the 1970’s on the merchandise. You will have your choice of ears, tee shirts, mugs, and so much more.
