My son, a huge fan of gaming, recognized the iconic elements like Question Blocks, Goombas, and Piranha Plants, all of which are cleverly incorporated into the scenery. It makes for an incredible photo backdrop.
Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
However, the centerpiece of Super Nintendo World is undoubtedly Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge ride! This attraction is an augmented reality (AR) experience full of the excitement of Mario Kart’s zany world.
Guests are provided with AR headsets that bring familiar Mario characters into the track as they race through the Mushroom Kingdom. Even my husband and I were dodging hazards and throwing virtual shells at competitors. We didn’t know what we were doing but it was still a whole lot of fun!
