However, as we move through 2026, Universal has streamlined the experience, allowing guests more flexibility than ever before. Introducing the Universal Orlando park to park ticket 2026.
One Ticket, Three Parks: The 2026 Park-to-Park Revolution
The biggest news for travelers this year is the updated Park-to-Park ticket option. Last year, guests had to buy separate one-day tickets for Epic Universe. Alternatively, they needed specific “plus Epic” add-ons. Now, you can visit Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Epic Universe all in the same day. You can do this with a single park-to-park ticket.
This change turns the resort into a truly cohesive experience. You can start your morning racing through the portals of Epic Universe. You can finish your evening with a butterbeer in Hogsmeade. For the ultimate water park fans, you can still add Universal Volcano Bay to your multi-day ticket. This addition creates a “4-Park” experience.
Traveler Tip: Volcano Bay occasionally closes for annual maintenance during the colder winter months. Do you plan to visit the in February? Make sure to check the official park calendar for scheduled closure dates.
Maximizing Your Time with Express Pass
To help navigate the crowds, Universal offers a multi-day Universal Express Pass add-on that includes all three theme parks. This allows you to skip the regular lines at participating attractions across the entire resort.
It is important to note a distinction regarding the “Unlimited” tier. Universal Express Unlimited allows you to skip the line an infinite number of times at Universal Studios Florida. It also lets you skip the line at Islands of Adventure. However, it is not currently an option for Epic Universe. For the new park, the Express Pass at Epic grants one-time entry per attraction.
Wizarding World Continuity
For fans of Harry Potter, the 2026 ticket structure is a dream come true. Because the Park-to-Park ticket covers all three parks, the continuity of the Wizarding World is seamless. You can experience the British Ministry of Magic at Epic Universe. You can take the Hogwarts Express between Diagon Alley (Universal Studios) and Hogsmeade (Islands of Adventure). Truly, you can live your best wizard life without any ticketing barriers.
Getting Around: Transportation and Resorts
Universal Orlando is now spread across two distinct “campuses,” but getting between them is straightforward. The bus service between the original campus (CityWalk) and the Epic Universe campus takes approximately 20 minutes.
Staying Near the Original Parks/CityWalk: You can stay at signature resorts like Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific, or Loews Sapphire Falls. Staying there allows you to enjoy the iconic water taxi service. It takes you directly to CityWalk. Other nearby options include Cabana Bay Beach Resort and Aventura Hotel. They offer quick shuttle or walking path access to the original two parks.
Staying Near Epic Universe: If Epic Universe is your main focus, there are three dedicated resorts nearby:
- Helios Grand, a Loews Hotel: This stunning resort features a direct, dedicated entrance into Epic Universe located right off the lobby.
- Universal Stella Nova Resort: The resort is located adjacent to the park. It offers a convenient walking path directly to the front gates.
- Universal Terra Luna Resort: Terra Luna is also located next to the new park. It provides frequent bus service to the Epic Universe entrance.
