Steakhouse 71 transports diners back to the 1970s, paying homage to the resort’s opening year. The retro-modern decor, with sleek lines, wood accents, and mid-century furnishings, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant’s design is a seamless blend of nostalgia and sophistication. My experience was it’s one of the more casual steakhouses on property giving it a more comfortable feel.
The Menu
Steakhouse 71 is primarily known for its high-quality steaks, and it does not disappoint in this regard. The menu features a variety of cuts, from the flavorful New York Strip to the tender filet mignon.
My steak was expertly prepared. The price range for steak entrees at dinner is from $30-$39. I chose the 6oz Filet Mignon. I found it to be cooked perfectly. However, the star was the Bearnaise sauce. Steak dishes are offered with your choice of one side and one sauce. I had no complaints about the steak, but the sauce was amazing!
Non-steak options include seafood dishes and vegetarian selections. You can be sure that everyone in your party can find something to suit their tastes.
Start your meal with one of the appetizers, such as the delicious French onion soup or the crispy calamari. Appetizer prices range from $10 to $17. I had the onion rings which was split among the table. If it is possible to have top shelf onion rings- these were it!
The restaurant also offers a selection of sides, including truffle macaroni and cheese and loaded mashed potatoes. The dessert menu includes options like the classic New York cheesecake and the chocolate mousse cake.

Our service at Steakhouse 71 was top-notch, reflecting the Disney standard of excellence. The attentive and friendly staff made us feel welcome and ensured that every need was met promptly. The Drinks
The drink menu offers guests a wide selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic specialty cocktails. My teen son enjoyed ordering a non-alcoholic Sunshine Punch, while I chose the Twisted Fig (Monkey Shoulder Blended Scotch, Cointreau Noir Liqueur, Fig simple syrup, and orange bitters).
The drink menu is unique in the sense it features 1970’s style favorites with a new twist. The price range for specialty drinks is from $13 to $17 with one cocktail topping out at $27 (1971 Sunset).
The Lounge
If you aren’t in the mood for a full sit-down meal and experience, Steakhouse 71 has a lounge with first come, first serve seating. Guests of the bar can enjoy drinks and appetizers or order from the full menu.

The impeccable service, casual atmosphere and decent pricing makes it a good choice in my opinion. You can have dinner then step outside to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks.
