Ghosts and goblins, witches and werewolves — grab your mouse ears and your candy bags, because Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is screeching back into the Magic Kingdom for 2025! And trust me — it’s bigger, brighter, and “boo”-tier than ever before.
If you’ve never been, picture Halloween… but with fewer haunted hayrides and more Haunted Mansion ballroom dancers. Add in exclusive shows, rare character appearances, frightfully good snacks, and a sugar rush that could give Tigger a run for his bounce — and you’ve got a night worthy of a thousand pumpkins.
Let’s creep it real and dive into the details!

Spellbinding Shows & Parades
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
They’re baaaaack! Winifred, Mary, and Sarah Sanderson descend upon the Cinderella Castle stage for a wickedly funny musical show. With appearances from Disney’s most dastardly villains, it’s a cauldron of campy chaos and toe-tapping tunes.

Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade
Undead ballroom dancers? ✔️
Pirate floats captained by Captain Jack? ✔️
The Headless Horseman galloping down Main Street just before the parade begins? ✔️✔️✔️
This parade is a spine-tingling delight, packed with rare characters like Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope, Clarabelle as a cow-zombie, and even the Haunted Mansion gravediggers (yes, the ones with the sparking shovels).
“Boo to you — and you — and you and you and YOU!” (Warning: this song will live in your head rent-free until Christmas.)

Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular
Jack Skellington himself (in puppet form, mind you) serves as your ghost host for this jaw-dropping nighttime show. Featuring fireworks, projections, lasers, and a healthy splash of Halloween magic, this is the kind of spectacle that makes you forget you’re holding a melting Mickey-shaped pumpkin ice cream.
Character Encounters: Who’s Behind the Mask?
This is the only time of year you can get up close and personal with some of Disney’s rarest and most villainous VIPs. Highlights this year include:
- Jack Skellington and Sally that look straight out of Tim Burton’s very own Nightmare.
- Mickey & Minnie dressed to impress in brand-new coordinated Halloween couture, posing together at Town Square Theater
- Stitch as Elvis (if you know, you know)
- Villains like Jafar, Queen of Hearts, and even Lotso (yes, the strawberry-scented one)
Lines can be long, but the photos? Insta-golden.

Trick-or-Treat Trails: Sweet Tooth Paradise
Walt Disney World doesn’t play when it comes to candy. At designated candy stations throughout the park, Cast Members will load your bags with goodies — and yes, there are allergy-friendly options available.

Pro Tip: Don’t fill your candy bag too early in the night unless you want to carry around five pounds of chocolate while dodging pirates. Visit characters first and trick-or-treat second.
Ghoulish Grub and Bewitching Bites
Let’s talk snacks, because the Halloween-exclusive treats are worth the visit alone:
- Madame Leota’s Spirit Tart – A tangy lemon and blueberry tart topped with edible glitter and a white chocolate crystal ball
- Ursula’s Wicked Float – Grape soda with vanilla soft serve and a black raspberry drizzle. It’s “sea”-riously good.
- Pumpkin Spiced Beignets – Do not miss these perfect pillows of messy goodness!
Many restaurants and carts offer party-exclusive treats, so come hungry and leave… well, more round than ghostly.
Creepy-Cute Photo Ops
Magic Shots return this year in full force with PhotoPass photographers capturing ghoulishly delightful special effects in your photos: think flaming pumpkins, hitchhiking ghosts, and Zero from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
And yes, there are plenty of spooky backdrops with glowing pumpkins, eerie lanterns, and cobwebbed corners to show off your costume.

Come in Costume, Darling!
This is one of the rare events where guests of all ages can wear costumes (even full princess or villain regalia!). There are a few Disney rules:
- No masks for guests over 14
- No weapons (real or fake)
- Keep it family-friendly (remember, it’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary party)
Costume groups and DisneyBounding are encouraged — so don’t be afraid to get creative.

Final Dreadful Reflections
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2025 is everything you love about Disney, with a pumpkin-scented twist. Whether you’re chasing rare characters, gobbling candy, or dancing with the undead on Main Street, this party delivers all the chills with none of the nightmares.
Grab your broomstick (or your stroller), dust off your costume, and prepare for a fang-tastic night of spells, sweets, and squeals.
